Deploy Fluid in 8 weeks

A Utilities customer with nearly 2,000 employees, deployed Fluid for PeopleSoft HCM and PeopleSoft Expenses. Their fluid strategy and timing were simple:

  • Align fluid deployments to Oracle discontinuing support of Classic Employee and Manager Self Service

  • Deliver modern look and feel for HR application users

  • Enable intuitive and efficient navigation

  • Reduce customization and leverage delivered functionality where possible

The Fluid deployment consisted of mostly standard delivered Fluid functionality with some customizations.

The customer deployed Fluid HCM for Employees, Managers and Core Users inside 8 weeks. In Phase 2, they deployed Fluid for Expenses and Candidate Gateway over an 8 week time frame.

The change management effort was minimal due to fluid UI being very intuitive:

  • Sent out articles in daily company newsletter

  • Produced two recorded training videos for employees to view on demand

    • Employee Self Service

    • Manager Self Service
